TVC- Anti-terror campaign for MBC TV
Brief

Saudi Arabia was facing a big threat during year 2004 from internal radical forces. They were targeting foreign professionals to leave Saudi Arabia. They were wrongly influencing people that because of these foreign professionals the local Saudi people are out of job. They were against the western culture setting in their young generation. The message was given to the people by and large that they will have a better life, jobs and financial stability. We were asked to do public awareness campaign to let people know the real picture.



Solution:

We created series of TV commercials and aired them on the most viewed MBC TV Channel. Each TVC had a message countering the false promises given to the people by the radicals.

TVC Memories:

It talks to the parents, who’s children are lured into terror activities among the population. But how these parents face the sadness in their life when these children have self-destructed themselves in the terror activities. Parents have only the option of leading a sorrowful life with the help of old memories.

Message: Our hopes will never rise unless we put terrorism down.


TVC Work:

This TVC talks to the young generation that you are only following path of destruction and not channelizing your energy towards nation building and self-betterment. By indulging into wrong doings and participating into criminal activities one can not find a worthy employment.

Message: Our youth will never flourish unless we end terrorism.


TVC Fireworks:

This TVC shows the real life situation of uncertainty in a daily life. The terrorist attacks in the city, has created danger and fear in everyone’s mind. Common man can’t live in peace and in constant fear for their family and loved ones. The fear has taken away even the moments of celebrations from their lives.

Message: Our joy will never be complete unless we extinguish terrorism.


TVC For MBC Channels for the month of Ramadan

Brief:

MBC TV Channel has the most interesting mix of family programs. During the month of Ramadan, it is a tradition to break fast at the sunset and family enjoys the meal together. It is the most Holy month of Caring and Sharing. We were asked to create an advertisement showing the essence of this holy month and to bring the whole family together and enjoy the best time of the year.



Solution:

We created the series of incidents, which people relate in their normal life. We managed to associate MBC TV channel with the viewer, as their own family member. It brings in the essence of the holy month of Ramadan in their life through choicest quality program. One boy helps his friend at school to do his work by sharing his foot ruler. Then the boy passes on the sharing and caring thought when given a plate full of dates by his mother. Instead of eating by himself he runs to the neighbourhood and shares with his friend. The giving and sharing is depicted in an very emotional way, which is the relation of MBC TV with their viewers for years together.


STC- Saudi Telecom Company - Introducing JAWALI

Brief:

Parents are always wanted to keep an eye on their children to make sure that they are safe. Keeping track of their children while they are out to school or visit to play ground becomes a hectic task for the parents to monitor children all the time. STC now introduce a device, which can be used by the child to call their parents in an emergency or parents can track their movements through their computer or mobile notification. We were asked to communicate the message to the parents in an educational and interesting way.

Solution:

We thought of creating a scenario where by showing a father who is over protective of his son. Father follows his child wherever he goes but we have shown the difficulties in a humoristic situation. Well known Comedian from the TV program acts as a father. Our message of the offering is given through demonstration to make it simple to understand. As a counter action in the end child puts the device in his father’s pocket to track his whereabouts.



Shell Road safety TVC Concept: REWIND

Brief:

Shell Motor Oil wanted to communicate to the public at the Road Safety week in KSA. Road Traffic accidents are one of the highest numbers in Saudi Arabia. Youth resorts to fast driving in their plush modern cars to impress their peers or to drive away boredom in daily life. A strong message to the community to drive responsibly and follow traffic rules at all times was one of the public awareness campaign.

Solution:

The whole TVC plays as if it plays the reel in rewind mode. We show the beginning with a burial at the cemetery of a young person. All the events in his life pass in front of you but in a reverse action and we come to the part where the young boy graduate from university, his father gifts him a brand new car. The message is very strong to tell people that it is not in our hand to rewind time… Drive safely.
